Janet brings with her an impressive wealth of experience, boasting over thirty years in dance instruction and a remarkable journey that began fifty-five years ago when she first laced up her dance shoes. Her profound dedication to the art of dance and her commitment to nurturing talent spans across various levels and styles, making her an invaluable asset to the dance community.

Janet’s deep-rooted connection to dance stems from her familial background. Growing up in a dance-oriented family, where both of her parents were celebrated formation dancers and competitors during the 1960s, has given her unique insights and experiences that enrich her teaching. Her family’s legacy continues to inspire her, and she remains actively engaged with the vibrant Liverpool dance scene.

With an unwavering commitment to excellence, Janet adopts a personalised teaching approach that is evident in her extensive experience. For 15 years, she has had the privilege of working alongside Eric Lashbrook, a former world European and British champion, learning from his expertise and bringing that knowledge into her own practice. Janet is devoted to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all her students, ensuring that each dancer not only acquires technical skills but also flourishes as an individual. She is passionate about fostering confidence and artistry, enabling her students to realise their full potential in dance.
