Christopher Fonseca

Christopher is a committed choreographer, performer and global D/deaf ambassador who works extensively in the UK, Europe and Internationally. Christopher's accomplishments are diversely wide-ranging, and notable achievements date back to 2012, with a role in London's Paralympics opening ceremony. Surface Area Dance Theatre welcomed Christopher as a Senior Advisor in 2017 to steer community developments and decisions concerning D/deaf access and inclusion within all company activities.

Christopher continues to develop an artistic practice that involves creative writing, BSL poetry, and choreography methodologies. More recent commitments include delivering an intensive company outreach activity that will take place at Dance City from July 2021 with support from Arts Council England's, National Lottery Project Grants.
