Fuse Theatre's delivering 4 Theatre-Making Workshops at Newcastle Deaf Centre

Surface Area Dance Theatre in partnership with Fuse Theatre presents four theatre making workshops open to all experience levels —from beginners to seasoned performers. It’s designed for anyone looking to explore creative expression, storytelling, and movement-based performance in an inclusive and accessible environment.

Information about the workshops:
These dynamic and interactive sessions are designed to get participants out of their heads and into their bodies, using movement and creative storytelling to build confidence and expression.

What to Expect:

• A fun, high-energy visual storytelling workshop exploring how movement can be a powerful storytelling tool.
• Guidance in developing a creative language that goes beyond words, helping participants express themselves in new and exciting ways.
• A chance to create and perform a short piece of visual storytelling inspired by real-life events.

Key Outcomes:

• Develop a stronger sense of physical/visual storytelling and movement-based performance.
• Gain confidence in self-expression through various theatre techniques.
• Learn how to craft and perform a short devised piece guided by our experienced facilitators.Each workshop is tailored to the needs of the age group, ensuring a supportive and inspiring space for everyone involved.
